I just love the Lincoln Memorial…especially early in the morning when there aren't any tourists there. I arrived early for a 1 on 1 session and had the place virtually to myself minus a security guard. This was taken at 6:31am after I'd been there for 45 minutes. Shooting this same shot just 15 minutes later meant the lighting changed dramatically and the contrast in this image was gone. If you want dramatic shots, shoot at the RIGHT TIME.
